Tri-Church Education Series
Apr 5, 2017 at 6:30 PM
Organizer: Andrew Connors

In our divided nation it's easy to lose our bearings in what it means to love our neighbors, including those named or made to feel "other." This year's Lenten education series focuses on loving our neighbors by asking, "What would you like to see from the Christian community in light of the current political environment?" Each Wednesday evening session, held in the education building at Brown Memorial, will allow time for questions and group discussion. Guest speakers will include:

  • March 8 - No Boundaries Coalition
  • March 22 - Refugee/immigrant community (Immigrant Outreach Service Center)
  • March 29 - Jewish community (Rabbi Daniel Berg, Beth Am Congregation)
  • April 5 - Islamic community (Dedrick Asante-Muhammad, Senior Fellow, Racial Wealth Divide, Corporation for Enterprise Development)

The evening will begin with a light dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by Brown Memorial, Memorial Episcopal Church and Corpus Christi Church.
