Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Apr 14, 2017 at 7:30 PM
Organizer: Andrew Connors

The Good Friday Tenebrae service is an opportunity to sit with the growing darkness of Jesus' arrest, condemnation and execution. The word “tenebrae” is Latin for darkness or shadows, and this is reflected in a service which progresses from dim light to total darkness amid prayer, music and waiting for the light of Easter Sunday. (Note: the darkness of this service may be unsettling to some young children.) Shuttle service will be provided to and from the parking lot at Mt. Royal Elementary School (121 McMechen St.).
