The State’s “Kirwin Commission”  has been studying education practices and funding for the past year and a half. In December, the commission will issue a report which will include recommendations for updated practices and ultimately a new state funding formula. Then, its up to the legislature and the governor to decide what to do with the commission’s recommendations.

If you want to learn about opportunities to get involved through BUILD and Strong Schools Maryland, then plan to attend this meeting.
