Get Connected

There are many ways to become involved at Brown Memorial. The links below may help you find your place. Or contact our Congregational Life Minister, Rachel Cunningham, who would love to help you find your niche at Brown.

We also encourage you to sign up for our newsletters to keep up-to-date with all that’s happening at Brown.

Learning and Growing in Community

The church is comprised of many small groups that provide easy entry points for community beyond our weekly worship. Sunday mornings offer the best opportunity to connect, with fellowship and education classes following worship. Weekday gatherings include a weekly Bible study, a Thursday prayer service, a monthly spiritual reading/discussion group, and other groups that come together around common interests. Making Music

Music has a long and deep history here, rooted in the joy that comes from singing the faith. Try out the weekly rehearsal of the Chancel Choir or the Handbell Choir. The Soulful Revue singing group also leads worship in a different style a few times each year. Learn more about our choral and instrumental music ensembles.

Engaging God’s Mission and Justice

Mission and justice are in our blood. From a volunteer tutoring program serving Baltimore City public school children for more than 60 years, to participation in BUILD (Balitmoreans United In Leadership Development), to our longstanding national and global partnerships, we try to cultivate relationships of accompaniment. Exploring Membership

Periodically throughout the year we hold an “Inquirer’s Class” for anyone who wishes to know more about membership at Brown. Contact Rachel Cunningham to learn more about the classes that are scheduled several times a year.
