BMTP works in partnership with three local elementary schools. School leadership, including classroom teachers and the literacy team, refer 1st to 5th graders to the tutoring program. With parent permission, we enroll these children and work with them each week in October through May. We do not accept direct enrollments from interested parents.
Our mission is to provide individualized, structured literacy instruction to Baltimore City elementary school students to build their skills, gain confidence, and awaken a love of reading.
