Our unique structure allows us to make a great impact on our students’ reading achievement.
All tutors are trained in implementing the UFLI Foundations program in an intensive and individualized approach. Students without phonics needs receive language comprehension, writing, and spelling interventions.
Students are picked up from school either in the morning or the afternoon and returned at the conclusion of their session. This maximizes attendance and minimizes extraneous logistics.
Students are transported from their schools to the tutoring space at the Brown Memorial Park Ave Church to receive their tutoring in a controlled and welcoming space. This keeps distractions and behavioral concerns at a minimum.
Students are matched with their tutor for the entirety of the year. This consistency lays the foundation for an exceptional bond between the child and a caring adult.
