Green Team Eco-Lecture
Sep 25, 2018 at 7:00 PM
Organizer: McKay Jenkins

Join us for a very special evening with Doug Tallamy, nationally renowned expert on the benefits of restoring our landscapes, bird populations, and pollinators using native plants.

Tallamy will present his highly regarded lecture about the many ways home gardeners and institutions alike can make great strides in restoring the Chesapeake Bay Watershed by becoming more aware of the relationships between plants, birds, insects, and local habitats.

This talk is open to the public. Thanks to a generous grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, this event is free of charge, though donations to the church Green Team will be gratefully accepted.

Doug Tallamy is professor of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware and author of the bestselling book Bringing Nature Home: How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in our Gardens and, with Rick Darke, of The Living Landscape: Designing for Beauty and Biodiversity in the Home Garden.

This lecture, generously supported by a grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, is free of charge.
