Appalachian Trail: Crampton Gap to Harpers Ferry

Distance – 6.4 miles (Out and back)
 
Description – The extended hike folks will start at the Gathland State Park Museum outside of Burkittsville.  I will put a car at each trailhead so you won’t have to hike the six miles back to your car. We’ll meet up with the shortened hikers at their trailhead.
 
For the shorter hike folks, this is a flat hike into Harpers Ferry were we can get lunch.  The hike will take us over the Potomac River at the confluence of the Shenandoah River.
 
Dogs are allowed on a leash.
