Anti-Racism Trainings
Dec 10, 2020 at 6:30 PM
Organizer: Taylor Stewart

Our church is embarking on a learning journey to explore race equity in our relationships with each other and how antiracism can guide our mission together in our city and world. Dr. Durryle Brooks will be leading us through a three-part series where we will begin by exploring our individual identities and creating some shared language on race, then we will consider how our individual identities create a collective, shared identity as a congregation and explore the power dynamics and systems within that collective identity, and finally we will evaluate and practice love and allyship and what these mean to our social justice work within and outside the church’s walls.

Additional Dates/Times in the Series:
Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thursday, December 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

REGISTER HERE for one or more of the trainings. We recommend attending all three whenever possible.
