Literature & Faith Zoom Gathering
Sep 17, 2021 at 7:00 PM
Organizer: Ellen Fisher

Join us over Zoom as we explore the intersections of faith and literature. We will be reading and discussing two selections recommended by fellow group members.

One of the selections is from a recent biography of Harriet Tubman - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gtPYOkPAoG9UBOjmkgxXpC-TIsYLh_LE/view?usp=sharing

The other selection, is Frederick Douglass's "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?" - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-iQCDPN8Ee9D9OfASQPBM_tJ5lB0ENqC/view?usp=sharing Since the Frederick Douglas speech is long (but truly worth reading in its entirety), we will discuss the last section, starting on page 10, paragraph 3 of the version from the link above.
