NOV. 14, 9:30-10:30 AM, ART THAT HONORS GOD: An interactive class reflecting on our stained glass windows as a mode of praise and adoration. Ornate windows such as the Tiffany collection found in our sanctuary are not common in Presbyterian and other churches of the reformed tradition. Art of this kind and others was at one time seen as a form of idolatry. In-person participants will also be invited to create pieces together drawing inspiration from the windows. Led by the Revs. Michele Ward and Jim Schuman in collaboration with a group of MICA students. If you are participating in person masks are required. Weekly, 9:30-10:30 AM - Children's Outdoor Sunday School: A time for children PreK-5th Grade to gather for sharing, storytelling, and fellowship with our Christian Educator Rachel Cunningham and our Associate Pastor Rev. Michele Ward. Each week we gather at the Mt. Royal Elementary School Playground (weather permitting); parents may drop off in the shuttle parking lot beginning at 9:20.
