Theology on Tap
Every month on the third Tuesday of the month until Nov 21, 2023 from 6:30p to 8:30p
Organizer: Elizabeth Tatum

Theology is really just a fancy word for “God-talk:” the way we think and talk about our religious beliefs. What happens when we take that conversation out of the church and into a bar?

Join us in the Auxiliary Bar at Guilford Hall Brewery to keep our conversation private and maintain better social distancing. Just head through the main restaurant and out to the beer garden - you’ll find us out there! Join us for an informal check-in and discussion of theology. Come have a drink (or not) and talk about God, the universe, and everything.

Contact Elizabeth Tatum for more information.

This month as we welcome Dr. Nicole Reibe for a discussion on disability and theology – the topic of a book she’s currently working on. Dr. Reibe, a member at Maryland Presbyterian Church in Towson, MD, teaches theology at Loyola University and is in the ordination process for the Presbyterian Church (USA). After spending time studying spirituality and disability during the Education Hour this past fall, we are excited to host Dr. Reibe as we add to and enliven that discussion.
