Join us for our next Theology on Tap gathering at Guilford Hall Brewery. In recognition of Black History Month, we will read excerpts of speeches and writings from powerful Black women fighting for liberation in America over the years. With those voices in the background, we will also talk about ways that some leaders and institutions, in response to executive orders and the change in our political reality, are choosing to "buckle in advance," surrendering their values before even being asked. What are the ways, however small, that we can resist actions and words - or omission of words - that violate our faith and/or our conscience?
