Welcoming the Baltimore Community and beyond into Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church’s historic sanctuary to foster its mission of working towards justice and peace by supporting culture and the arts.
Typically, each Tiffany Events season includes a choral concert featuring Brown’s Chancel Choir and soloists, and an organ recital showcasing the church’s renowned 1931 Skinner organ. Guest organists have included Frederick Swann. Tiffany musical programs have also included brass concerts, handbell festivals, classical musicians and singers, bluegrass, folk and steel drum musicians and gospel choirs.
Past speakers have included Congressman Elijah Cummings, Harry Belafonte, Children’s Defense Fund Founder Marian Wright Edelman, peace activist Liz McAlister, Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, and “House of Cards” showrunner Beau Willimon.
