Visit Brown Memorial During Artscape

With the Artscape Festival happening just a few blocks away, July 21-23, we will open the doors at Brown Memorial for our own free events as part of Artscape’s “In the Neighborhood” program. Take a break from the heat and come to the cool, beautiful serenity of our sanctuary in Bolton Hill for a silent film and organ concert July 21, and Tiffany windows tours July 22-23.

South Tower and Fellowship Hall Renovation Update

On Sunday, June 4, Brown Memorial’s construction team gave an update on the South Tower and Fellowship Hall renovation project during a congregational meeting. The purpose of Brown’s Capital renovation project is to improve the accessibility, safety and usability of Brown’s facilities. The South Tower repairs are expected to begin in September. The Fellowship Hall building renovation will begin in December/January and will take approximately 7 months.

Summer Music on the Stoop

Brown Memorial is taking advantage of the longer days and warm weather to move the music ministry outside this summer on the church front steps. Hymn sings will take place June 7, July 5 and Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. Friday night concerts are July 7 and 4 at 7:30 p.m.
