Silent Film & Benefit Concert Nov. 3, 7 PM

Enjoy a screening of the 1923 silent film, “Our Hospitality,” starring Buster Keaton, in the sanctuary at Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church on Friday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. Michael Britt, Minister of Music at Brown Memorial and a renown theater organist, will provide live, improvised organ accompaniment on the church’s historic 1931 Skinner organ.

Brown Memorial Joins One Water Partnership

Brown Memorial’s new “Green Team” has received a $1,000 grant from Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake to participate in its One Water Partnership program, along with more than a dozen other congregations. As a chartered member in the One Water Partnership program, the Green Team has committed to taking a series of “actions” over the next two years to cultivate a strong, faith-rooted commitment to pollution reduction within the Jones Falls watershed.
