The new school year has arrived and Opening Day for the Brown Memorial Tutoring Program’s tutors is Sept. 19, followed by two days of training Sept. 26 and 27. No prior teaching experience is required to be a tutor.

All Brown Memorial friends are invited to join us in the mountains of Western Maryland for rest, recreation, and reconnection with God. For the past year and a half, representatives of Brown Memorial’s Hispanic Ministries Committee have been participating in the Sanctuary Coalition of Central Maryland to discern the need to establish a sanctuary movement in the Central Maryland area. The coalition is comprised of pastors and lay leaders from churches across the Central Maryland region.
