Brown Delegation Travels to Cuba February 15 – 22, 2019

A Presbytery delegation is traveling to Cuba to provide accompaniment to our Presbyterian friends in central Cuba. The group traveling from Brown Memorial will also make official a three year partnership between Brown Memorial and La Iglesia Presbyteriana en Camajuani.

 

Delegates will be bringing much needed over the counter medicines and are looking for donations. Medicines will be collected in a box in the back of the Sanctuary on February 3 and 10All bottle sizes are appreciated – large bottles can be divided into Ziploc bags if necessary. However, they ask that the vitamins not be in bottles more than 100. The following medicines are needed:

 

  • Benedryl (or generic) pills and cream
  • Bengay or generic muscle rub
  • Calcium with D3
  • Children’s calcium with D3, chewable
  • Children’s vitamins, chewable
  • Children’s Motrin or generic
  • Children and adultsVitamins A, B, and D6
  • Chlorpheniramine (antihistamine)
  • Glucosamine
  • Iron
  • Lansoprazole (antacid)
  • Mucus chest relief (guaifenesin) children and adult
  • Omeprasol (Prilosec)
  • Pepto-bismol (or generic) chewable tablets
  • Thermometers
  • Tums or generic
