Our hearts are broken over the massacre that occurred in a gay club last night in Orlando. We are grieved whenever lives are lost at the hands of a gun, and we are especially grieved and angry that the LGBTQ community has been terrorized in a space that was intended to be safe and joyful.
We are joining with our neighbors at Memorial Episcopal Church (1407 Bolton Street) tonight (June 12, 7pm) for a prayer vigil remembering both the LGBTQ community and any other community that lives in fear of gun violence.
