Our Daily Bread is an organization within the larger network of Catholic Charities. They work to alleviate poverty and hunger in Baltimore City through a hot meals program, as well as job training and counseling services. A team of volunteers at Brown Memorial contributes casseroles every month to this cause.
During June, our church community is donating 30 Zippy Beef or Mac and Cheese casseroles to ODB. Brown members and friends can sign up on CCB to prepare a casserole under the “Needs” tab in the Church Community group, or email Barbara Francis, Barbarafrancis1312@gmail.com.
Pans are available in the back of the Sanctuary and the Assembly Room with recipes attached. Or download the recipes here. Drop off FROZEN casseroles (labeled with date and the casserole name) to the Assembly Room freezer (in the wall of closets).
