Prayer Service of Thanksgiving Rescheduled to November 29

A member of Brown Memorial holds his hands together in prayer.

I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart. – Psalms 138:1

All are invited to attend a special Prayer Service the week after the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 29, 6-6:30 in the Sanctuary at Brown Memorial. On this day, the Thursday evening service will be dedicated to prayers of thanksgiving, praise and gratitude.

The past year has brought us through times both difficult and joyful. Join us in the sanctuary as we pause in the midst of our busy schedules to give thanks to God for the many gifts of our lives, including those received in the midst of challenge and pain and those we often take for granted. The short service will include moments of spoken prayer, silence and music.

If you are unable to attend or if you would like to attend in silence, you are encouraged to submit a prayer of thanksgiving to be read aloud at the service. Please email Rachel Cunningham at [email protected] with your prayer request.
