Prayer Service of Thanksgiving November 21

Candles burning in Brown Memorial's sanctuary.

We have lived through both difficult and good times this year. Take a moment out of your busy day on Nov. 21, 6-6:30 p.m., to stop into Brown Memorial’s sanctuary for a brief service to give thanks to our creator and offer prayers of thanksgiving for all that has occurred in our lives.

We will sit in quiet reflection and prayer, pray the prayers submitted prior to the service, and encourage additional prayers from participants. We will also sing a traditional hymn of praise for thanksgiving.

If you cannot attend or if you prefer to attend in silence, you are encouraged to submit a special prayer of Thanksgiving that will be prayed on your behalf. Send prayer requests to Rachel Cunningham, [email protected]. Prayer request can also be submitted by downloading and printing this flyer and dropping it in the Sunday collection plate.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”  I Thes. 5: 16-18
