Tutoring Program Celebrates Christmas

All of the students and tutors who participate in Brown Memorial’s Tutoring Program were treated to parties this month to celebrate the holidays. In all, eight parties took place to give students/tutors in every tutoring session a chance to celebrate.

The parties included crafts (students made ornaments with their tutors), singing karaoke Christmas carols, enjoying good food, listening to Christmas stories and, of course, gift giving. Every student received new books to take home, and a box of “Make Your Own Slimygloop.”

There is still time to make a year-end donation to the tutoring program, to help make parties like these possible for the Baltimore City students who participate in the Tutoring Program.
