Youth Group Holds Meeting with No Boundaries Coalition

Twenty-four young people from Brown Memorial, Corpus Christi and Memorial Episcopal traveled from Bolton Hill to Sandtown-Winchester to meet with 10 youth organizers from the No Boundaries Coalition on Sunday, Jan. 21. After ice breakers and some teaching, they split into small groups to ask what young people need in this moment in Baltimore City.

Tutoring Program Celebrates Christmas

All of the students and tutors who participate in Brown Memorial’s Tutoring Program were treated to parties this month to celebrate the holidays. In all, eight parties took place to give students/tutors in every tutoring session a chance to celebrate. The parties included crafts (students made ornaments with their tutors), singing karaoke Christmas carols, enjoying good food, listening to Christmas stories and, of course, gift giving.
